Temperature and Heat Cycle Tester
Temperature and heat cycle tester for copper/ aluminum cables and fittings. This test is designed specifically to carry out the electrical and temperature rise test as per the IEC 61238, BS EN 50483. Generally, the purpose of this test is to check the material characteristics due to the thermal effects. The test system generally comprises as follows;
- 1. Supplying constant AC current for single phase and three phase sources.
- 2. Programmable touch screen-based control system to set the test time, no of cycles, temperature required on test samples, test current required
- 3. 32 multi channels data logger to display and monitor direct display and can be linked to PC with universal input signal
- 4. Incorporated with 100A DC current source for millivolt drop measurement to find resistance changes at cold condition
- 5. Thyristor and servo motor controller for current control
