Impedance or Magnetic Adapters
Magnetic adapter are designed to regulate and balance the current in a low voltage loop testing for branch connectors. Branch connectors such as IPC, feeder pillars, distribution boards where there are multi ways output rated for different current ratings.
General Specification
- Ring /rectangular type iron core
- Input secondary current : 0- 800A; impedance 3 – 6 mohm
- Open circuit voltage: 60Vac
- Ammeter to display tap conductor current
- Temperature display to show tap conductor temperature
- The inductance in the coil is adjusted through a rheostat with varying resistance
- The rheostat is manually adjusted till the preferred current in the tap conductor is obtained
- Mode of selection: manually rotate the knob of rheostat to set preferred current
- Features: the tap conductor temperature is kept constant during stabilization period. ± 2kt
